eBIS COMPLETES THIRD ROUND OF FUNDING

BEIJING, PRC--December 5, 2001-- eBIS Company Ltd, a leading information technology service provider of business solutions, announced today that it has closed its third round of funding. The investment was led by the Carlyle Group�s Asia Technology Venture Fund and included Intel Capital. The investment will help eBIS penetrate new market sectors, such as telecom and securities. It will also be used to support continuing research and development, and to fund domestic mergers and acquisitions.

eBIS specializes in providing system integration, total application solutions, information technology strategy consulting, and solutions implementation to China�s leading state-owned enterprises and government agencies. eBIS also provides information technology solutions for data management and data security.

"This round of financing will support the growth of eBIS and consolidate eBIS�s position as a leader in the industry", said Schelling Peng, chairman of eBIS. "At the same time, we look forward to providing better solutions and services to our customers."
