SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 2002--Apache Design Solutions, a start-up company providing next-generation power-ground integrity solutions for the IC design industry, today announced it received investment funding on Aug. 27, 2001, from Andrew Yang, Andy Bechtelsheim, and Intel Capital. The funding will be used for product development to help develop complete EDA solutions to address power-and-ground design and integrity issues for sub-130nanometer technologies. Further financial details of the investments were not disclosed.

Apache produces the industry's first commercially available solution that addresses IR drop, Electro-migration and inductance-related problems for high-performance ASICs and SOCs.
