Callixa Receives Funding From Intel Capital

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 2002--Callixa, the provider of high performance, scalable enterprise data integration platforms, announced today that it received funding from Intel Capital. Financial details weren't disclosed.

The funding proceeds will help support Callixa's increased sales activity, and will fund additional technology development. Callixa will also begin to offer support for scalable 64-bit architecture that not only supports the Intel® Itanium® processor family, but also enhances Callixa's capabilities in processing volumes of data and complex computations.

The Callixa Integration Server is a distributed, high performance enterprise information integration platform that creates a standard and virtual access layer for writing and reading data to and from all data sources of an enterprise. Providing a true operational environment, Callixa Integration Server allows applications to access heterogeneous enterprise data on-demand and provide the information views needed by business users regardless of physical location, technology platform and format inconsistencies.
