ArtinSoft is a leader in enterprise software migration and upgrade technology. Founded in 1993, ArtinSoft's breakthrough Freedom* technology and Consulting Services are used by enterprises worldwide to accelerate software evolution to modern platforms. ArtinSoft's cost-efficient, rapid and scaleable solutions empower companies to migrate and upgrade mission critical applications and to leverage the knowledge capital embedded in existing software assets.

ArtinSoft's Freedom engine employs grammar-based reasoning to migrate and upgrade applications achieving up to 99% automatic recovery with full knowledge preservation. ArtinSoft's Consulting Services division is dedicated to ensuring 100 percent completion of the migration and upgrade process.

At the core of Freedom is a proprietary artificial intelligence technology that creates a full abstraction of the original program via intermediate representations in which millions of transformations are applied to produce another abstraction in the target language. The new source code is then generated from that abstraction. At each processing stage, the system cleans-up the logic, derives useful information from it, deduces its new best representational form and passes it on to the next stage.

By addressing the inherent software limitations of backward compatibility, obsolescence, standards adoption and platform conversion, ArtinSoft's automated solutions reduce costs by freeing corporate assets and accelerating return on investment.

With more than 200 employees worldwide, ArtinSoft is headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica, with sales offices in the United States and Europe.
