 Carlos Araya, CEO
Co-Founder and CEO of ArtinSoft, Mr. Araya holds a PhD in Computer Sciences with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Kansas, and a Master's degree in Operations Research and Computer Management from The Monterrey Institute of Technology, Mexico. He also lectures at the Costa Rican Institute of Technology where he received his bachelor's degree in Management and Computing.
Together with four of his students, Mr. Araya started ArtinSoft in a coffee farm on the outskirts of the Costa Rican capital less than a decade ago to write programs that automated the task of upgrading obsolete software to highly advanced and adaptable platforms and technologies. Today, they employ more than 200 people and have their own sales and support offices in Costa Rica, the United States, England and Mexico.
