Walter Fonseca, CEO
Walter Fonseca, CEO, has developed a wide experience in investment processes and project development throughout Latin America. With more than ten years of experience at Citicorp he achieved important goals regarding privatization operations, direct investments, and start-ups. As Managing Director of Citicorp Capital Investor, he conducted the creation of Citicorp Venture Capital for Latin America.

Most recently, he was Executive Vice President for West Sphere Argentina, responsible for the development and growth of the South American Private Equity Growth Fund. He managed the fund from its creation until it became a holding of retail, logistics and entertainment companies with revenues over 1 billion.

He participated in several launching and restructuring of Latin American Corporations, having developed as Executive Director in several of them. He was cofounder of Fuego Technologies, a regional company dedicated to Internet technologies. Today Fuego Technologies has its headquarters in Dallas and integrates the Sevin Rosen Funds portfolio.

Mr. Fonseca graduated in Business Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires. He held the position of Teaching Assistant in Marketing and Information Systems between 1978 and 1980. He has also completed the first year of the MBA program at IAE, and has attended executive education programs and top management training courses in Citicorp and Columbia University
