Co-Design Automation, Inc., is a leading supplier of advanced languages and tools to target electronic design and verification productivity. Created by Peter Flake (HILO) and Phil Moorby (Verilog), the "SUPERLOG" language is a superset of Verilog and uses C together with unique abstract modeling and verification capabilities to dramatically accelerate design and verification. The SYSTEMSIM simulator enables an high speed, easy to use simulation and verification environment with fast no-PLI C access and integrated automated testbench capabilities, while SYSTEMEX provides an abstract SUPERLOG code expander for synthesis.

Simon Davidmann Simon Davidmann, CEO
Simon Davidmann is Chief Executive Officer of Co-Design Automation. Davidmann has 20 years of relevant experience in the EDA industry. During the early 1980s, he was a member of the HILO development team and became the first United States-based applications engineer for GenRad. In 1988, Davidmann became the first European employee at Gateway Design Automation, responsible for the technical support of Verilog-XL, leading to setting up the Cadence consulting services group in Europe. In 1993, Davidmann opened the European office of Chronologic Simulation. Most recently, Davidmann opened the Ambit Design Systems European office and ran its European operation until its acquisition by Cadence.
