Dartfish is creating a new dimension in edu-tainment by developping tools to enable the generation of digital video content for live broadcasts and educational software.

Dartfish's technology and know-how are widely recognized in the sports world for exclusive televised broadcast footage, interactive Internet content and breakthrough sport training applications.

The technologies include:

  • Simulcam*: this technology makes it possible to compare the movement and forms of two performances. Viewers can contrast and compare the position, style and trajectory of two athletes who were recorded at different times at the same location and then blended and composited into a single video sequence.
  • Stromotion*: displays each step of a movement within the video as a stroboscoping effect, allowing spectacular trajectory images, both for a moving athlete or object.
  • 3D visualization: based on various positioning technologies to create virtual environments which exactly duplicate the real course or track. This technology is the future of interactive TV and webcasts.
