Established in 1988 to develop and market 3D-based computer graphics technologies. The company soon moved into 3D Cad/Cam and now focuses on IT manufacturing industries with particular strength in 3D data handling and web. Famotik is quickly spreading its services and technologies to major Japanese manufacturers throughout Japan.

FTK/WATS (manufacturing-web.com) offers development environment and methodology for a whole and segments of the Product Life Cycle: construction of collaborative engineering portal; information portal site of design/manufacturing, 3D visualization for integrated information, procurement of MRO, and e-commerce environment among businesses.

Masayoshi Michael Arashiba, CEO
Mr. Arashiba graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies with Postgraduate works at University Minnesota. He served as Director of Export at PAKO Corporation (Automatic Photo Processing Equipment). In 1982, he established MicroPro-Japan (Wordstar) in Tokyo. In 1984, he founded Autodesk-Japan (Autocad) in Tokyo and also founded Famotik, Ltd. in 1988. In 1993, he organized one of the world's first Cad/Cam Component Technology Forum in Tokyo and later established the Lattice Technology, Ltd in Tokyo, together with Prof. Chiyokura of Keio University.
