Founded in 1998, Fast-Chip Incorporated is a fabless semiconductor company that provides packet processing solutions to networking equipment OEMs that enable the delivery of premium, billable services across the network infrastructure with uncompromising performance.
Fast-Chip's products target the emerging market for policy-based network equipment used at the edges of the network, such as virtual private network devices, bandwidth managers, fast firewalls, service aggregation devices, core switch routers, access routers, voice over IP devices, and network probes. Fast-Chip's products are designed to leverage existing hardware and software architectures, including those based on embedded processors, ASICs, or network processors, allowing network equipment OEMs to rapidly bring to market intelligent, high-performance, cost-effective products.
 Gregory Cook, CEO
With over 16 years of sales, marketing, and operations management experience in the semiconductor industry, Mr. Cook joined Fast-Chip in June, 1999. Previously, he held sales and marketing management positions at Texas Instruments, Integrated Device Technology, and PRI Automation. Mr. Cook holds a BSEE from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
