NC-Virtual Systems(*) provides a solution in the BroadBand Services market. The ASP sector is the best known of these, but as access to BroadBand increases it will include Games, Pay-TV, IP based telecoms and many more.

By combining the 'best-of-breed' off-the-shelf technologies from companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, RSA and Citrix, with our own leading edge technology we have created a solution that offers service provisioning, charging, security and subscribers management in a reliable, efficient, yet highly flexible solution called the Virtual Freedom(*) Platform. This technology has not only been developed but has also been deployed in a joint venture with Ericsson in Warsaw and used by thousands of subscribers for the past year.

NC-Virtual Systems is a European company with an established R&D department in Poland and the main commercial office in the UK. Established since 1998 the company currently employs approximately 70 people.

NC-Virtual Systems(*) a leading edge technology, the Virtual Freedom(*) Platform gives anytime, anywhere, any device access to applications, information, e-commerce and m-commerce. It addresses the vital issues of service provisioning, charging, security and subscribers management.

Service provisioning - Publication of services available enabling end-user to select the appropriate package that is then activated.

Security - Access and encryption modes are various from SSL to IPSec for encryption, user passwords to RSA smartcards for authentication.

Subscribers Management - User privileges are granted, including applications, versions and storage. Usage and charging of each application with the relevant pricing schedule is correlated with user activity and rights via our unique Process Monitoring Software.

Charging - Either flat rental, or micro-payment charging according to real-time usage for each type of service, from different providers is possible. The subscriber can view this to see their account status on-line, or the provider to see the usage patterns and their revenue shares.
