Avi Sharir, CEO & Founder
Avi Sharir, CEO and co-founder of Orad, has served as a member of the Board of Directors and President and Chief executive Officer since the Company began operations in 1993. From 1991 to 1992, Mr. Sharir was the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Optrotech Ltd. From 1989 to 1990, he was President of the Communication Group, which developed and manufactured sophisticated military communications equipment. From 1974 through 1990, Mr. Sharir worked for Tadiran Telecommunications Ltd., where from 1988 through 1990 he was a Corporate Vice President and also served as Components Group President. From 1979 to 1989, Mr. Sharir served in a variety of roles such as Business Manager of Customer Premise Equipment and General Manager of the Network Products Division. Mr. Sharir received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
