Jim Brailean, PhD, PacketVideo's President, CEO & Co-Founder, led the development of the MPEG4 standard for wireless multimedia delivery and holds 16 U.S. patents that will power the next generation of wireless communications. From 1993-1998, Jim served as the chairman of the MPEG4 Error Resilience Video Compression Ad Hoc Group. Prior to PacketVideo, Jim was a principal staff engineer within Motorola Corporate R&D Laboratories in Chicago where he managed the Advanced Video Algorithm Group.
