Tegrity is a leading developer of innovative solutions that move the classroom experience onto the Web while enhancing teaching in the classroom. The San Jose, California-based company was founded in 1995, with its R&D center based in Israel.
Tegrity products provide an easy-to-use and affordable solution for capturing many dimensions of a classroom experience including audio, video, presentation slides, whiteboard writing and 3D objects, and broadcasting it on the web in real time or on-demand. Tegrity WebLearner comes to classrooms as an integrated hardware/software system with all the basic technology that is required for web-based and in class education.
Isaac Segal, President and CEO
Isaac has been Tegrity's President and CEO since early 2001, and has over 20 years of business-building and product management experience. Beginning in 1995, he oversaw product development and international marketing and sales from Tegrity's Israeli center. He co-developed business strategy for the company and built and managed the development team for all of Tegrity�s products. His team received the Israeli Prime Minister's Award for Computer Software in 1999, for Tegrity WebLearner software and its application for distance learning. Before joining Tegrity, Isaac was a product manager and program manager at National Semiconductor for FAX and digital voice answering solutions that achieved over 30% worldwide market share at the time. After graduating Magna Cum Laude in Computer Engineering from the prestigious Technion University, Isaac helped found several successful entrepreneurial companies. Before that, he served in the Israeli Army managing development of computer-based training tools, some of which were later adopted by the US military.
