Thin Film Electronics ASA (TFE) is a research and development company owned by Opticom ASA (87%) and Intel (13%). TFE does research and development at it's own facilities in Linkoping, Sweden and Albuquerque, New Mexico, and uses a network of institutions around the world for contract work on certain tasks.
TFE has developed polymers for use in memory devices. Polymers combine high storage capacity and low power consumption at a cost of less than 5% of silicon based memories. Layers may be stacked, and there is potential for reel-to-reel production. The company offers non-exclusive licences of it's technology to manufacturers.

Mr. �berg has over twenty years experience in the high technology sector, including management of high growth technology sales & support operations, customer partnering, marketing and consulting services. Prior to TFE, he was General Manager of Synopsys� European operation for more than eight years.
