Zygon is a global software company that enables organizations to manage and flow product information within and between companies to support e-commerce, e-procurement, and collaboration. The company was launched in June 1999, secured first round funding of $7 million from 3i and Intel Capital. The company secured second round funding in excess of $8 million from 3i, Bamboo Investments, Intel Capital, and Taylor Young Investment Management.
Z3 - Zygon's Z3 is a retail-focused enterprise software suite that enables the acquisition, management, and publishing of product information across both Internet and traditional channels. Z3 was released in March 2000.
Z4 - Zygon's Z4 enables organizations to acquire, store, manage and flow product information from a core repository that supports all business channels, including the Web, B-to-B marketplaces, mobile platforms, digital television, and paper publishing systems. Z4 facilitates collaboration within and between organizations. Z4 is scheduled for release in Q2 2001
James Dobree, CEO
James Dobree is responsible for overall corporate strategy and for overseeing day-to-day operations at Zygon.
Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales & Business Development at RedBox Technologies Inc. Formerly, Dobree was Head of Strategy & Operations for Oracle Europe, where he spent four years gaining a valuable insight into the international operations of this leading database supplier.
