Intel Presentations

IP Storage Presentation Tues. May 7, 3:15pm - 4:30pm, Ballroom G (Interop Conference -- IP Futures)
Ahmad Zamer, Product Mktg Mgr, Intel Communications Group

If storage is to be network accessible, its reach must extend beyond mere Fiber Channel and SCSI network systems. Truly network accessible storage should be accessible from any network, any LAN, over any distance; we need Internet accessible storage. And that means IP. Don't worry, it's in the works. Come learn how data storage is on the fast track to becoming "yet another application over IP".

New Visions Presentation Tues. May 7, 3:45pm - 4:45pm, Pavilion 10 (Network Processing Summit)
Stephen Price, General Mgr, Intel Communications Group

Have we reached the end of the network processing explosion, or are there new services and functions to be defined? Come view the leading edge as a selected group of panelists describe new and innovative extensions to the network- processing phenomenon. Among the questions our panel of visionaries tackle are, What are the next emerging network- processing applications? What new services are amenable to co-processor packaging? How small can you go? How big? How can network processing support convergence?

Intel® 10-Gigabit Ethernet Technology
Come see 10-Gigabit Ethernet working in a real system environment demonstration. The demonstration will include 10-Gigabit Ethernet server-to-server connections, along with the latest optical module technology.

Intel® PRO/Wireless 5000 Dual Access Point
Come to the Intel booth and be among the first to experience a fully integrated wireless LAN access point that supports both IEEE* 802.11a and 802.11b standards. Let us show you how Intel is leading the way in Wireless LAN technology.

Intel® PRO/1000 Gigabit Adapters
Intel will be announcing six new adapters that fit the diverse needs of business networks. Find out how Gigabit can improve your productivity throughout your existing Cat-5 network, from desktop Gigabit for today's demanding applications to the new dual-port adapters, ideal for multi-port Gigabit scalability to help remove server bottlenecks.

Intel® PRO/1000 T IP Storage Adapter
Discover the advantages of bringing Gigabit Ethernet to network storage via iSCSI. Intel will demonstrate how using two of the widest deployed standards, TCP/IP over Ethernet and SCSI, allow for interoperable, standards-based, easy-to-implement Storage Area Networks (SAN) that utilize the same personnel and management tools as your LAN.

Intel® LANDesk® Products: Simplifying the Business of IT
Are you being challenged to do more with less? Intel® LANDesk® products enable your help desk and IT staff to easily automate complex IT processes such as remote problem resolution, inventory reporting, and software distribution so that you get to focus on what really counts -- making your overall business successful.

Additional Booth Demonstrations

Time to Market Solutions for e-Commerce
The Intel® Applied Computing Platform Provider (ACPP) program consists of third-party board and software vendors that meet Intels strict criteria for quality assurance, design capability, tools and support. ACPP companies have established a significant presence in various market segments including communications, retail and financial transaction terminal products, industrial PCs imaging systems and more.
