Each Intel® processor is tuned to the specific demands of its targeted environment. Mobile Intel processors, for example, employ advanced 0.13 micron processes and lowvoltage operation to reduce power consumption and thermal output, while offering clock rates up to 2 GHz. The Intel Itanium processor employs Explicitly Parallel Instruction Computing (EPIC) technology and large memory address ability to power the most demanding server and workstation tasks.
