Intel is committed to a broad range of research areas at universities and in the field. Areas include cash grants, equipment donations, and our "Researcher in Residence" program, which sends Intel engineers to universities to work directly with research teams.
The goal of Intel-sponsored research is to build mutually beneficial relationships with research programs through a variety of means, including:
- University grants and gifts
- Intel forums, seminars and events for research teams and visiting faculty collaboration at Intel
- Joint Intel/university research projects
- Participation in Sematech, the Semiconductor Research Corporation and other consortia
Research grants include cash grants, equipment in support of research, and invitations for researchers to visit Intel. Intel supports a broad range of research areas that complement and augment its internal research programs.
The Intel Technology Journal is a professional online research and development journal. The Journal provides a forum for Intel's researchers and engineers to present their work directly to you.
