This year's conference will be held in Portland, Oregon from October 31 through November 2, 2002. Since its inception in 1973, NMSA has been a voice for those committed to the educational and developmental needs of young adolescents. NMSA is the only national education association dedicated exclusively to the growth of middle level education. Intel is providing the technology lab for the conference as well as conducting a workshop featuring the It's a Wild Ride project.
