About the Entrants
These Pentium® 4 processor and Mobile Intel® Pentium® III Processor M based machines are more than just concept PCs. To be eligible, the PCs must be available for purchase within 60 days of the Intel Developer Forum or be on the market during the past 12 months.
 
Evaluation Criteria
Submissions are tested for innovation in three key areas: performance, personality, and simplicity. The desired end result: a PC that's easier to setup, operate, expand, and maintain.

Twice a year, Intel's Innovative PC Recognition Program presents PC manufacturers from all over the world with a challenge: define the state of the art in personal computing. Make computers that are easier to use. Make them faster. Make them better looking. In short, do everything you can to improve the PC user's experience.
