NEW  Building PCs for the Digital Home
Extended Wireless PC, a new platform initiative, takes the first step towards Intel's vision of the Digital Home by extending the PC's digital media capabilities throughout the home. Come see PC makers, consumer electronics manufacturers, and application developers debut exciting new products that digitally link the PC to home stereos and televisions.

Here's what you'll find at IDF Fall 2002:
  Technologies
  • Early product prototypes will be on display at the Innovating the PC area on the main concourse and at the Technology Showcase. Representatives from Intel and participating companies will be on hand to demonstrate their product concepts.
  • See futuristic capabilities - visit the Building PCs for the Digital Home booth in the Intel Pavilion. Grab a free demo video CD while you're there and learn more about the initiative.
  Keynote Speeches
Louis Burns, Intel VP and GM, Desktop Platforms Group, Anand Chandrasekher, Intel VP and GM, Mobile Platforms Group, and Ron Smith, Intel Senior VP and GM, Wireless Communications and Computing Group, discuss "Internet Clients: Desktop, Mobile & Handheld." Hear what they have to say about evolving usage models for business and the digital home, and the role of extended wireless PCs, mobile notebooks and portable handheld devices.
  Sessions
Catch these and other sessions covering what's new in Building PCs for the Digital Home track:
  • Overview sessions covering strategies and technologies for moving from concept to reality
