The Washington site is located just off Interstate-5 in Northwest Landing, a 3,000 acre planned community. Intel�s initial investment in Washington has been approximately $175 million. More than 1,500 employees currently occupy three buildings at the site.
The primary mission of the Washington site is engineering research and development with a focus on enterprise platforms, including high-end servers and workstations. Engineers in DuPont also help design chipsets, desktop systems and computer diagnostic tools.
