3. How do I prepare my resume to match Intel's recommended format?
Like many organizations, our operations in Canada use an electronic database to efficiently route resumes. Our recruiters search the database using keywords and phrases that describe the specific skills and knowledge required for a particular opening. It is important, therefore, that you include any relevant terms and acronyms in your resume.
We prefer to receive resumes electronically as they are processed more quickly and accurately. While special formatting may look nice, it can cause errors in getting your resume into the database correctly. Therefore, it is to your advantage to submit a plain text resume - avoid special formatting, bold type, underlining, and fancy fonts. We suggest 12 point type in Helvetica, Times, or New Century, all left-aligned.
