At the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Intel's Folsom campus is home to employees working on a wide range of technologies including wireless communications, Intel® Architecture-based platforms and reseller development and support. Organizations such as the Americas Sales and Marketing and Intel's Information Technology also reside in Folsom.

With seven buildings totaling over 1.5 million square feet of office, test floor and lab space, Intel Folsom is one of the largest private sector employees in the area. As a research and development campus, Folsom employees create, test and validate the next generation of chips and chipsets, including desktop, mobile, and server processor products. Intel Folsom employees are bringing processors to new levels of speed and convenience, while extending Intel® Architecture to new levels of technical computing performance.

Employees working on wireless and networking technologies provide silicon connectivity solutions for high-speed telecommunications and networking applications. These components are key in building Internets and intranets of the future, helping Intel become the preeminent building-block supplier to the worldwide Internet economy.
