Site Photo The Site
Located northeast of San Diego, the Intel San Diego campus is currently comprised of three buildings, as well as a $31.3 million recent investment to purchase 31.4 acres of land in the nearby Scripps Ranch area. With colorful interiors and a fun atmosphere, the campus is home to several divisions of Intel Communications Group (ICG).

Intel San Diego's primary focus is the development of hardware, software and firmware, as well as manufacturing operations, marketing and e-Commerce. The wireless networking innovations developed at the site include an award-winning line of networking products used to extend Intel's access into the wireless LAN arena. The Intel San Diego campus is also one of the only Intel sites allowing employees to bring dogs to work. The site's many amenities include a basketball court, fitness center and a barbeque area. The office includes approximately 400 employees, and offers careers in the following areas: Hardware Engineering, Hardware Manufacturing and Software Engineering.

The Vicinity
As California's second largest city, San Diego offers a variety of activities and events that appeal to people from around the world. With an average yearly temperature of nearly 71 degrees, San Diego provides an ideal climate to take part in a multitude of year-round activities, including hiking, camping, fishing, wildlife observing, surfing, boating, sailing, swimming and much more.

The area offers over 92 golf courses and 70 miles of pristine beaches. Arts, culture and culinary arts are also prevalent in San Diego, which is home to more than 90 museums, including fine art, transportation, science, nature and history. Balboa Park, the largest urban cultural park in the U.S., features 15 museums, numerous art galleries, beautiful gardens, the Tony Award-winning Globe Theatres and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Many other world-class family attractions can also be found, including Sea World San Diego and LEGOLAND* California. San Diego is home to one of the largest military contingents in the southwest, with North Island Naval Air Station, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (Top Gun) and Camp Pendleton. The area is also home to several premier educational institutions, including University of California at San Diego, Scripps Institute of Oceanography, San Diego State University and University of San Diego.
