Intel Says 'Yes' In Enterprise Advertising Campaign
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 3, 2002 - Intel Corporation has initiated a multi-million dollar worldwide marketing campaign that highlights what the Intel brand means to businesses: innovation, stability and reliability across a broad range of technological offerings. Using the theme "Yes," the campaign serves as an umbrella under which Intel will incorporate the company's enterprise computing products - from PC to server to mobile processors - and answers questions CEOs and CIOs are asking about the direction of technology.
"The Yes campaign reflects the confidence business customers have when they use our computing products across all parts of the enterprise," said Jane Price, director of Business Marketing at Intel. "It's our largest business campaign to date, and complements the success we've seen this year for enterprise adoption of Intel-based products."
Referencing Intel's role as a provider of microprocessors and other silicon-based ingredients, the ads feature provocative questions such as, "Can a company that doesn't make computers change the course of computing history?" and "Can a microscopic piece of technology solve enterprise-sized problems?" The answer is "Yes."
Intel this year will introduce a number of products for the enterprise marketplace: the Intel® Itanium® 2 processor, advanced iterations of its Intel® Pentium® 4 processor for corporate desktop and mobile PCs, and new Intel® Xeon" products for servers.
The Yes campaign will comprise of print, outdoor and online advertising elements. Print advertisements begin in the United States on June 4; ads will break in key global markets in the coming months. The campaign was created by Euro RSCG MVBMS, New York.
