Anand Chandrasekher is Vice President, Mobile Platforms Group and General Manager of the Mobile Platforms Group. In this capacity, he leads the team that is responsible for architecture, design, development, and marketing Intel's solutions for the mobile computing segment.
Chandrasekher has served Intel in a variety of senior management positions in marketing, planning and general management. Most recently, he was Vice President of the Intel Architecture Group and General Manager of the Intel Architecture Marketing Group where he was responsible for the strategic planning and marketing activities for Intel's enterprise, mobile and desktop platform products. Chandrasekher also served as Vice President of the Intel Architecture Business Group and General Manager of Intel's Workstation Platform Group. Before becoming General Manager of the Workstation Platform Group in January 1997, he was Technical Assistant to Craig Barrett, current Chief Executive Officer of Intel Corporation.
Chandrasekher joined Intel in 1988 in Hillsboro, Ore. He earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a master's degree in Engineering from Cornell University. He received an M.B.A. from Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management.
