Thomas Anthony Lacey is a Vice President of Intel�s Sales and Marketing Group, and President of Intel Americas, Inc. Lacey joined Intel in 1991 as a product marketing engineer for math co-processors. Subsequent positions included worldwide marketing manager for OverDrive� processors, Director of APAC Distribution and Communications, and Director of APAC Business Management and Product Marketing. He was appointed vice president in 1998.

Prior to joining Intel, Lacey was vice president of marketing at Opus Systems. He started his career as a software engineer.

Lacey was born in Burlingame, Calif. on April 13, 1958. He received his bachelor�s in Computer Science from University California, Berkeley, in 1981, and his MBA from Santa Clara University in California in 1988.
