Earl Whetstone is currently Vice President of the New Business Group, and General Manager, Home Products Group.

An Intel veteran, Whetstone has held a variety of senior executive positions in sales and marketing since joining the company as a Field Sales Engineer in Florida in 1977.

Prior to moving to his current position in December 1996, Whetstone was Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing in the U.S.A.

Before joining Intel, Whetstone was employed by Pyronics Inc. and Hamilton Avnet Inc. Whetstone was promoted to Sales Manager at Hamilton Avnet in 1975 and left in November 1977 to work for Intel.

Whetstone was a member of Ohio National Guard from 1967 through 1970 and studied Electrical Engineering at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
